While selecting the pictures for my memoir, "Le Freak," I found a treasure trove of shots from the '80s. During this period the style of hairdo that I sported most was called a fade-away or just a fade. I always laugh when I check out many of my old photos and hairdos. I always ask myself, "What was I thinking?" Answer: THAT $HIT WAS IN STYLE!
